What people are saying

“I grew up feeling called to be a missionary, but I felt torn given that my talents aligned more with math and finance careers.

My call with Mike made me realize I can work in finance and use my position to witness to my coworkers and strategically fund many other missionaries.

- Aaron

“My mentor showed me ways I could have even greater impact and glorify God through a career as a biosecurity researcher.

-Jenny

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are best positioned to help people who are interested in working on one of our top problem areas. These are:

  • We get back to you usually within 1–2 weeks. We will email you both whether your application was successful or not. If your application is successful, you will be contacted by a generalist advisor and invited to book a time for an initial 45 min –1 hour video call. In the call, you will discuss your current situation, plans, and uncertainties with the advisor.

  • The advisor will send you a followup email with links related to topics discussed during the call. Within 1–3 weeks, we will be in touch if we receive affirmative answers from would-be mentors. Our mentors are based in various locations so you will most likely meet them in a video call. The time and date for the call will be decided between you and the mentor.

  • This depends on the mentor. All our mentors are doing this on a volunteer basis, so they define whether they want to meet with the mentees just once or more.

  • Our mentors are Christians working in various fields who want to share their expertise with mentees to help them forward in their pursuit of a high-impact career. Some fields our mentors are working on include finance, medicine, STEM research, education, missions, management, humanities academia, policy work, nonprofit advocacy, and more.

  • No, we don’t offer placements through our program.

However, we do send out monthly opportunities via our newsletter and these may include internships. You can sign up for the newsletter here.

  • There are no hard and fast rules about this. Generally, you are likely to benefit most once you have a rough idea of what career options or different routes you are considering and want to figure out which one would be better suited for you or most impactful.
